Arranger for Hire is a professional Music Arranging service. Our music arrangers serve customers from around the world, delivering scores, parts and tracks.
The Music Arranging Process
From your provided material (an mp3, YouTube Link, pdf sheet music, recording of you singing your tune, or anything else you can imagine) we transcribe the melody, figure out the chords or harmonic scheme if needed, then begin the process of arranging.
We might ask you a lot of questions at this stage, about your ensemble, skill level of the members, whether you need notation or tracks primarily, or both.
We create music notation files in the industry-leading Finale software for your specified combination of voices and instruments, in whatever style you specify.
Working from your “brief” (your instructions for instrumentation, style, and “sounds like” examples), we put the piece together in Finale. We can add intros, codas and endings, transitions and interludes, countermelodies, and all the other aspects that comprise an arrangement, either matching the source, or creating a uniquely personal statement that sets your work apart from all the others on the market.
When it’s complete, we send a set of proofs for your review, consisting of audio playback files from the score, or screenshots of the score, or both.
Ensembles and Styles
We arrange for all types of ensembles in all sizes from solo instrument to symphony orchestra with choir and organ.
We follow best practices in music engraving, producing professional publishing-quality sheet music.

Our Tracks
Transcription and arranging are always the first steps in our production process. Finale Notation Software produces good audio output and playback demos, but professionally produced tracks and master recordings should be produced in a Digital Audio Workstation such as ProTools or Logic ProX.
We offer these additional services, and will quote them separately if needed.
Our Revision Policy
We offer a complimentary round of revision for all projects.
In order to do a revision, we ask that you provide one or both of the following:
- Markup of the delivered score
- An edit list referencing the bar numbers in the score.
Billing
- We request a deposit of 50% on all work.
- When we’re done with the first draft, we bill the balance.
- Our policy is scores remain here until the balance is paid.
- Revision follows receipt of the balance, and your markup or edit list.
- Your right to a revision is guaranteed under our terms.
If you’d like to estimate your likely cost (and you know the length of your piece in min:sec) please enter values for minutes and seconds in the form below:
