Finale Training | Tutoring | Screen Share

We’re offering a Complete Online Course in Finale

Visit our new Finale Training Site for details about the course – or use the formThe structure or organization of a piece of music, including its sections, repetitions, and overall shape. at the bottom to book a One-to-One session immediately.

Screen Share Support

Finale can be complicated and frustrating. Google search will reveal answers many questions, but because of the vast vocabulary of musical and technical terms used in the program, it can be hard to figure out the right question to ask.

Watching tutorial videos can be time consuming. If you’re on a deadline or can’t find the answer you’re looking for, timely support is crucial.

Make Music’s support is terrific – but it can take time for them to get back to you. They prefer to deal with serious technical issues and bugs, rather than user instruction. The user forums (actually, “fora”..) are great,  but again, there is a lot to wade through to find your particular answer.

The user manual is a great resource as well – unless you don’t know what question to ask!

Tutoring

If you’re new to Finale, interactive instruction can be a valuable shortcut to learning the program.

When we first started using Finale in the 90’s, it had 3 thick paper user manuals. At least the single pdf manual is searchable now – but in order to search, you need to know the term you’re looking for.

That’s where our service comes in. We offer support, tutoring and training via screen share, using Zoom video conferencing. With screen share, we look at your screen with you, and can move your mouse if you want, to get you to the feature, menu or procedure that will solve your problem.

For this service we bill at $1.25/minute, with an hour billed in advance, with unused time pro-rated and refundable.
