Bridging the Gap Between DAW and Stage
This project highlights a growing trend in modern composition: the need for “Human-in-the-loop” expertise to bridge the gap between brilliant digital mockups and the physical requirements of a live orchestra.
“When a composer works primarily in a DAW, the focus is often on sonic impact. My role is to translate that digital vision into the nuanced language of live players—ensuring playability, correct orchestration, and a flawless set of parts that respects the composer’s original intent,” says Jon Burr of Arranger For Hire.
About Arranger For Hire: Arranger For Hire provides world-class music arrangement, orchestration, and transcription services for composers, songwriters, and theatrical productions globally. Specializing in high-stakes projects where precision and musicality are paramount.
